The Dermasport mark was engineered around flow, protection, and athletic grit.
We designed an identity system that balances medical-grade trust with the high-energy aesthetics of modern performance gear. The central mark evokes motion, defense, and recovery—reflecting the daily ritual of water athletes who demand real solutions for harsh elements.
Paired with bold, architectural typography and clean graphic framing, the logo translates seamlessly from high-touch digital storefronts down to small-format packaging tubes, custom caps, and poolside gear.

Dermasport began when David Schmidt set out to solve a problem close to home: athletes and swimmers spending endless hours under the sun, suffering through chlorine damage, dry skin, and eye-stinging sunscreens that washed off in minutes. To solve it, he brought together the deep medical expertise of his father, Dr. Christopher Schmidt—a lifelong swimmer, ocean waterman, and board-certified dermatologist who spent decades removing skin cancers from fellow athletes who lacked proper protection.
We loved working alongside David to translate his family’s passion, clinical authority, and deep water sports heritage into a brand that genuinely serves the community. From setting an approachable, energetic creative direction and redesigning their flagship e-commerce experience to crafting durable packaging built for wet gear bags and poolside mornings, we helped Dermasport make athletic skin health simple, human, and accessible for anyone who lives outdoors.
